Dr Naomi Nuridin is a Ballarat-born GP with a special interest in perinatal and infant care, breastfeeding medicine, and lactation support. She is passionate about supporting women, babies, and families through pregnancy, postpartum, and early parenthood with compassionate, evidence-based care.
Dr Naomi completed her medical degree in South Australia before returning home to Ballarat with her family in 2018. She holds qualifications including MBBS, FRACGP, DRANZCOG, Diploma of Child Health, and is an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC) and Breastfeeding Medicine Doctor. She is also an NDC-accredited practitioner.
As a mother of three, Dr Naomi understands the challenges and joys of early parenting and is committed to helping families feel informed, supported, and cared for throughout their journey.
Dr Naomi supports women and couples in preparing for pregnancy through personalised preconception care focused on physical health, emotional wellbeing, fertility, and lifestyle. She works collaboratively with patients to help them feel informed, supported, and confident as they plan for pregnancy and early parenthood.
Providing compassionate, evidence-based antenatal and postnatal care, Dr Naomi supports women throughout pregnancy with a focus on continuity, education, and personalised care. She aims to create a safe and supportive environment where women feel heard, empowered, and well cared for during every stage of their pregnancy journey.
As an IBCLC and Breastfeeding Medicine Doctor, Dr Naomi supports mothers experiencing breastfeeding and feeding challenges with practical, holistic, and compassionate care. She provides assessment and management for concerns including milk supply, mastitis, painful feeding, infant weight gain, tongue tie, and feeding difficulties, helping families feel supported and confident in their feeding journey.
Dr Naomi provides gentle and holistic support for newborns, infants, and families navigating the transition into early parenthood. She works closely with parents to address concerns including unsettled behaviour, reflux, allergies, feeding and sleep challenges, while supporting infant development and parent confidence during the early months and years.
